Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara has been awarded numerous distinctions including an award from the Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018 she was recognized as an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she won the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara made her debut as an actress in 1974 as in The Second City, an improv comedy group located in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara and Candy began work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won the Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her outstanding writing for a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
