Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate, and a TV presenter for MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball made the decision to cancel the show in May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her further interest in politics due to the fact that she became an expectant mother in the 2008 primary elections and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She was able see the impact it affected the people of Jordan and gained an appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
